27 Feb Spring to Alaska This March
Who doesn’t love a quilt? Especially one with our favorite sailboat on it! Thank you Lynne (on the right) for this gorgeous (and incredibly detailed) new hand-painted art quilt, and Lisa for the finishing touches. We shall hang it with pride aboard and think of you two. They are both incredibly talented artists and simply wonderful Sitkans.

- Aug 20 – 29 10-Day Glacier Bay National Park – Open
September is now on “sail”.
We love fall in Alaska. Coho salmon are running the rivers, bears are gorging in the streams, and the whales are fattening up for their trip to Hawaii. For some reason I’m suddenly hungry.
To celebrate and share the bounty of this magical time, we discount our September trips across the board 20%. You’ll save $550 on a 7-day trip.
- Sep 1 – Sep 7 7-Day Juneau to Sitka – 2 cabins open
- Sep 10 – Sep 16 7-Day Best of Sitka Sound – Open

Captain Blain is still crowing about his feature article in this issue of Mainsheet Magazine. If you hurry, you can find it online.
We have three 50%+ Community Pass coupons for Columbia, Sorel, Mountain Hardware, or prAna. First three emails back to us get the discount codes. Expires March 1st. Amazing prices on new stuff for your adventures.
And since we are speaking of glaciers, the third installment of American Adventure Survival Science aboard Sailboat BOB is about the plight of Alaska’s glaciers. Sobering, but beautiful. Thank you Brian McComb. You did a great job on these.
Both Monique and Blain got to recently spend some time with the parents and they even let us sit at the adult table… Monique to Arkansas and Blain to Nebraska to visit the family. They have been (and still are) our biggest fans as we’ve settled into this crazy life on the water, and we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have been able to explore Alaska with them. Our hearts are with you Dad, Marna and Mom.
